Mr. Roach has been working with the Desert Young Marines for 3 1/2 years. He started by being a helpful parent doing whatever was needed by the CO. Later he became involved as the Training Officer and when the previous CO had to step down due to work restraints, he was elected as the Commanding Officer. Mr. Roach’s philosophy for the Unit is for the Young Marines to learn respect for others, know that there are other options than drugs and gangs, and to have fun while learning. Mr. Roach is a flight paramedic with Native Air Ambulance, a AeroMedical Company based in Arizona.
